# Cómo migrar mi información de base de datos.

En este tutorial vamos a explicar cómo descargar un backup o respaldo de tu base de datos desde el panel de control de CloudPanel, usando el administrador de bases de datos **(PHPmyadmin)**.

Ingresá al panel de control --> Base de datos. Clic en **"Base de datos".**

Seleccioná la base de datos a la cual quieras hacer backup. Cliquear **"Respaldos"**.&#x20;

Aparecerá el backup más reciente para que puedas descargarlo. Te sugerimos hacer esta tarea periódicamente. Cliquear **"Descargar"**.&#x20;

**¡Felicidades! ¡Ya tienes un backup de tu base de datos!**

Otra manera de realizar un backup de base de datos es usando PHPmyadmin, en otro de nuestros manuales ya explicamos como conectarte desde ahí. Una vez que te hayas logueado, vas a visualizar las bases de datos creadas.

1. Elegí la base de datos.&#x20;
2. Hace clic en Exportar.&#x20;
3. Elegís el método de Exportación y el Formato.&#x20;
4. Continuar.

Listo, ya tenés un respaldo actual de tu base de datos en tu máquina local.

Ahora podés invertir el proceso, importando un copia de tu base de datos que tengas en local a tu base de datos creada en el panel.

Nota: Se recomienda siempre realizar este proceso sobre una db nueva, es decir que no tenga contenido alguno

1. Seleccioná la pestaña importar.&#x20;
2. Seleccioná el botón Examinar, y buscá la ubicación de tu archivo.sql&#x20;
3. Apretá en el botón Continuar de la parte inferior y empezará el proceso de importación.&#x20;

Nota: Si el tamaño de tu archivo es superior al límite fijado, podés contactar a soporte.&#x20;

Nota: Siempre que sea posible sugerimos realizar la importación y exportación desde un gestor de base de datos, sobre todo si estas son de tamaño considerable.
