# Configuración de clientes FTP

Lo primero que tenés que hacer para conectarte por FTP es crear un usuario FTP (ver tutorial cómo crear usuario FTP)

Una vez creado el usuario FTP, vas a buscar los datos para conectarte al servidor. Ingresá en Panel > FTP-SSH > Clic en el usuario FTP > Clic en Configurar Cliente FTP.

**Servidor:** El servidor FTP es ftp.dominiodelcliente. En el ejemplo, el dominio del cliente es cloudpanel.com, por lo tanto, el servidor FTP será ftp.cloudpanel.com **Puerto:** 21 \
**Usuario:** Está compuesto por el nombre del usuario y el nombre de la cuenta. En el ejemplo, el usuario es prueba.latincloudtutoriales, donde prueba es el nombre del usuario y latincloudtutoriales es el nombre de la cuenta. \
**Contraseña:** Corresponde a la contraseña asignada al momento de crear la contraseña.

A modo de ejemplo, utilizaremos un cliente FTP llamado FileZilla, el cual se puede descargar desde el siguiente enlace: <https://filezilla-project.org/> y dando clic en la opción Download FileZilla Client.

Abrí el FileZilla y vamos al Menú > Archivo > Clic en Gestor de sitios e ingresá los datos para conectarte como se muestra a continuación:&#x20;

Luego das clic en **Conectar.**&#x20;

Si tenemos algún error al conectar con el servidor, podemos probar cambiar el cifrado a la opción **Usar sólo FTP plano (inseguro)**&#x20;
